Addition is no fun. It may be safe work but there's no excitement. Rather than add, multiply. You never know what will come out of it but there's a thrill in that anxiety. Destruction and consolidation. Vibrant and hushed. The artist and the printer call each other names. The locking of horns leads to a discovery. P×P=P2. This answer which was somehow spun out became the works for this exhibition. Whether it is right or whether there really is a right answer, this now uncertainty is fun. Yasuhiro Sawada
