In this 3-man (actually 4-man) exhibition, no common theme was set. Each created new works freely with his own themes. Gugi Akiyama designed various products for an imaginary cafe called the Dairy Fresh Cafe. The two from Tycoon Graphics made video and graphic works with champagne and the Olympics as a theme for the millennium. My theme was "Unfinished." We each made a series of 11 posters. At the exhibition there was a lack of uniformity not only because of the differences in the direction each took but also in their final methods of expression. That was their response to a common question for the three, "How do you see the possibilities for graphic design today?" which was the point of this exhibition. Hideki Nakajima
