"Windscape" is a literal translation of the Chinese characters for landscape and makes one feel swayed by the wind. The wind, which can not be owned, never stops and has no outlines, is peaceful and quiet. "1/f fluctuation" represents the ideal. A flat surface with such movement conveys the texture of the canvas and is easy to look at. I wanted to express the pleasure conveyed by things that move-- the air, the sky, clouds, water, rivers, the sea and the wind. Also, while blue is the symbol of hope and peace, I like it because it is also the color of the Earth. The blue windscape is an intense message for people as they face the 21st century and it is also a mindscape. Takahisa Kamijo
