Three graphic designers rallied to the cry, "Let's have some fun!" A common kind of "fun," naturally, is not so easy to find for three people who are used to expressing themselves with their own thoughts and methods. The theme settled on was fashion. While it is an area close to our daily lives, in their work, all three are equidistant from it. With the cooperation of Yoshiko Ikoma, there was a collaboration with fashion designers Shinichiro Arakawa and Kosuke Tsumura. If all goes well, I thought, they should be able to convey to common message even if the expression is different from what each is used to. The result, however, was different ways for each of them. That disharmony produced friction and made them influence each other. That slight energy from that disharmony is the common message of this exhibition. Kan Akita
