The86th Hideo Mukai Exhibition

Advertising reflects the times but is also fated to disappear after a short while. Hideo Mukai staked his life on opening up a new age in Japanese advertising. It is very meaningful to have been able to collect his works and show them with this "hommage" exhibition on the first anniversary of his death. A human warmth that reflects his personality runs consistently through his works. His numerous works made with his strong conviction that "creativity is not a method but an idea," will provide many suggestions as to how advertising should be from now on as well. Hiroshi Kojitani
