Light emanating from images floating on a screensaver in a dimly lit room radiates in every direction, continuing to increase in brightness until the entire space is filled with light. Extending to logos, typeface, art direction, spatial design, and video, the exhibition presents a series of works that represent the history of YOSHIROTTEN in graphics.
For YOSHIROTTEN, graphic work is a way to convey ideas and information through visual perception using a minimum of elements for maximum impact. RGB stands for the three primary colors that use light to reproduce other colors. Punk rock changed the world with just three chords. The emotion, or the "something" that precedes the act of articulating information received through the retina when stepping inside the exhibition space, is truly one of the essential elements of YOSHIROTTEN graphics.
