The GRAPHIC WEST 5 type trip to Osaka – typographics ti: 270 exhibition will be held at ddd Gallery in 2013.

In April 2011, typographics ti, a public-relations magazine published by the Japan Typography Association, began a series of special features on cutting-edge Asian graphic design that continued in eight issues over two years. Osaka was the final destination in the series, based on the innovative theme of a “type trip.” In this exhibition, the editors and staff joins forces with Asian designers to present everything from the collaborative production process and contents of the magazine to the designers’ thought processes in the form of three-dimensional displays in the gallery space. In addition, a talk program ”InterView” featuring designers from each featured city will be held to provide the latest information about Asian graphic design and the design network.
