kyoto ddd gallery The 216th Exhibition Graphic West
April 10, 2018 - June 23, 2018
This time, the kyoto ddd gallery will be holding the “Graphic West 7: Yellow Pages” exhibition. “Graphic West” is a series of exhibitions that we’ve held since our Osaka days where we broaden our outlook beyond Kansai to the rest of Asia.
Four years since the last in this exhibition series, we’re reconstructing Asian graphic designers featured in graphic design specialist IDEA magazine’s “Yellow Pages” for the seventh in the series. This time, the three young design groups of Taipei’s Aaron Nieh, Beijing’s Xiao Mage and Cheng Zi and Seoul’s Na Kim will be appearing. As well as displaying their body of works, we’ll also be introducing clients, photographers, editors, printing companies and other people who have co-operated with the work, and their connections. In this exhibition we hope that you’ll have the opportunity to tour parts of the state of design of each Asian city.
